The junior defender netted the game-winning goal against Radford on Friday night. The goal was her first since the 2008 season and gave the Herd its first win of the season.

Blakely also registered an assist on the weekend en route to MU beating Appalachian State 2-0 on Sunday to win first place in the Best Western Huntington Mall Invitational.

In the two games Blakely tallied four shots, placing three on goal. The Herd defense held its opponents to just nine shots and earned two shutouts. Blakely walked away from the weekend as an All-Tournament member and the MVP of the Invitational.
