Dec. 19, 2015

Game Notes

The Marshall women's basketball team look for its eighth win of the season Sunday in the Cam against Norfolk State. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m.

This will be the third ever meeting between Marshall (7-1) and Norfolk State (0-8). The Herd is coming off of an 81-73 win over Saint Francis in which it needed a big fourth quarter to avoid its first home non-conference loss since Dec. 29, 2013. Marshall has a string of 11-consecutive home wins versus non-conference opponents.

Sunday's game against the Spartans is also "Holiday Ugly Sweater Party". There will be a contest and prizes for the fan with the best ugly sweater.
