Despite dropping the first game of the Fairfield Invitational, Marshall came back focused in day two of the tournament with two victories. Wake Forest enters this weekend's tournament on a three-game win streak after sweeping the Elon Phoenix Classic. The Deacons downed North Carolina Central, Charleston South and the host school Phoenix. Freshman middle blocker Katie Moore was named MVP of the Elon Phoenix Tournament after recording 22 kills and 10 total blocks. High Point is currently on a two-game losing streak with losses coming against George State at the HPU Classic and to UNCG during the week. Haley Barnes leads a strong attack game for the Panthers with 99 kills.
