In helping Marshall win Mid-American Conference tennis titles and appear in the NCAA Tournament in each of her four years of competition, Ashley Kroh was the 2005 MAC Player of the Year and won All-American honors with doubles partner Jessica Johnson when they advanced to the 2004 NCAA Tournament championship match. The Louisville, Ky., native was also a three-time ITA All-American Scholar-Athlete, won the 2005 ITA Arthur Ashe Award for leadership and sportsmanship and was the 2005 Dr. Dorothy Hicks Award winner as Marshall’s female Athlete of the Year. Kroh concluded her Marshall career as the school’s career leader in combined singles and doubles wins (198). She was inducted into the Marshall Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010.
