From the time she was named to the Mid-American Conference’s All-Freshman team in 2003 until she set school track and field records as a senior in 2006, Sikeetha Shepard-Hall established herself as one of the greatest all-around athletes in Marshall University history. On the basketball court, the Houston, Texas, native won honorable mention all-league honors as a sophomore and then was second-team all-conference in both her junior and senior seasons. Shepard-Hall finished her career as the school’s No. 3 all-time scorer with 1,609 points and was Marshall’s career record holder with 146 made 3-pointers. She started more than 100 games in her career hand helped the squad reach the MAC Tournament semifinals as both a junior and a senior.

Shepard-Hall also competed for the Marshall Track & Field team and was a member of the school record setting 4x100 relay team, boasted a career-best time of 12.59 seconds in the 100 meters and qualified for the NCAA East Regional Championships with a long jump of 20 feet, 3 inches. She was inducted into the Marshall Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018.
