One of the most well-rounded players in the history of Marshall women’s basketball, Tracy Krueger regularly filled out the box score and was also a standout student. The Wyoming, Ohio, native not only scored 1,105 points during her Marshall career, but when it concluded in 1993 she also was in the top 10 in school history in rebounds (565), and assists (230), and was second all-time with 273 steals. Her 122 steals in the 1992-93 season remain the Marshall and Southern Conference single-season records. She was twice named All-Southern Conference and was also a two-time winner of the Dr. Dorothy Hicks Award as Marshall’s female Athlete of the Year. Upon graduation from Marshall, she received the prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. Krueger was inducted into the Marshall Athletic Hall of Fame in 2003.
