Buffalo, NY (Sports Network) - Mark Bortz scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the Buffalo Bulls to a 77-58 win over the Marshall Thundering Herd in Mid-American Conference men's basketball action Saturday.
Yassin Idbihi netted 19 points and Turner Battle added 12 points in the victory for Buffalo (9-10, 5-6 MAC), which has won four of its last five games.
David Anderson scored a team-high 10 points for Marshall (7-12, 4-7).
Marshall registered only 26.9 percent shooting in the first half, including 1- of-8 from three-point range, and Buffalo held a 42-25 advantage at intermission.
The Herd committed 21 turnovers in the contest and was only 1-of-15 from behind the arc.
Marshall will return home, for the first time in three games, Wednesday when the Eastern Michigan Eagles visit the Cam Henderson Center for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
