Elizabeth Fleming Named Marshall Student-Athlete of the Week

Marshall senior volleyball player Elizabeth Fleming is the Marshall Student-Athlete of the Week. Fleming was named Conference USA Setter of the Week Oct. 26. Fleming dished out match-high totals of 41 and 38 assists in wins at Southern Miss and UCF. In the 3-0 sweep of the Golden Eagles, she tallied a double-double to help defeat the league leader for the second time this season. In the two conference road matches, Fleming averaged 13.17 assists, a league-best for the week, and 3.00 digs per set. This is Fleming's second Setter of the Week honor this year and eighth of her career.
