NCAA Releases APR Data

INDIANAPOLIS - The National Collegiate Athletic Association released the Division I Academic Progress Rate, penalty reports and aggregate data for all NCAA Division I institutions Wednesday and all 16 of Marshall University's athletic teams are in good standing with multi-year APR scores well above the 925 mark.
Tara Helton, the director of Marshall University's Buck Harless Student-Athlete Program that oversees academic support services for all of Marshall's student-athletes, was pleased with Marshall's APR scores.
"We are pleased that all of our teams are above the 925 academic threshold set forth by the NCAA," Helton said. "This is a credit to all of our student-athletes, coaches, administrators and support staff."
