Matt Schiffbauer Named MU Athlete of the Week

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Matt Schiffbauer of the Marshall University men's cross country team has been named MU Athlete of the Week.

Schiffbauer placed third at the Conference USA Championship meet on Monday and with the finish, earned First-Team All-Conference USA accolades. Schiffbauer finished the 8K course in 23:42.

Schiffbauer leads the Marshall men's and women's cross country team's into the Mid-Atlantic Regional to be hosted by Penn State on Nov.13.
