Aaron Boggs Named Marshalll Athlete of the Wek

Aaron Boggs of the Men's Golf Team is the MU Student Athlete of the Week after winning the Cardinal Intercollegiate Sept. 21.

Boggs' victory is the first of his career. A Madison, W.Va. native, Boggs carded a one-under 71 for a 54-hole total of 210 (70-69-71) to earn a one shot victory over Kennesaw State's Jeff Karlsson (70-72-69-211). Boggs' victory is the first for a MU golfer since Sam O'Dell took home medalist honors at the 2000 UK/Owens Invitational.
