Zaprazna and Voscekova Named Marshall Athletes of the Week

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- Junior Dominika Zaprazna and sophomore Maria Voscekova of the Marshall University women's tennis team have both been named Marshall's Athlete of the Week following the pair's doubles triumph at the Kitty Harrison Invitational this past weekend.

The Thundering Herd duo stormed to four consecutive doubles victories against some of the top-ranked doubles teams in the country, sweeping aside competition from Texas A&M, UVA, Duke, and Minnesota en-route to claiming first place at the UNC-hosted tournament.

The tournament win was the pair's second of the fall, and will have the Herd riding high as it concludes the fall and prepares for the official spring season ahead.
