S-A of the Week: Ra'Shawde Myers

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Redshirt junior Ra'Shawde Myers recorded four tackles, two tackles for loss, including one sack and one interception while helping Marshall defeat UTSA, 34-10 and is this week's Marshall's Student-Athlete of the Week.

Myers, from Cocoa, Fla., collected his first career pick in the UTSA game. The diving pick set up the Thundering Herd offense at the UTSA 38-yard line and led to a touchdown, which gave the home team an early 10-0 advantage in the first quarter.

The Herd is ranked in the top 20 nationally in total defense, rush defense, pass defense, opponent 3rd down conversions and scoring defense.
