LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Marshall men's basketball team (3-0) travels to seventh-ranked Louisville (2-0) Friday evening at 9 p.m. ET in the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville.
The game will be televised on ESPNU.
Marshall is paced by Ryan Taylor's 18.0 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. Austin Loop (12.3), Shawn Smith (11.3) and Cheikh Sane (10.7) also average double digits, while Sane also averages 10.7 rebounds per game.
Aleksa Nikolic averages 4.0 assists per game and Loop has connected on a blistering 62.5 percent (10-16) from 3-point range.
Louisville has three players averaging double figures. Montrezl Harrell leads the Cards and the ACC in scoring with 22.5 points per game. Terry Rozier ranks second on the team in scoring with 15.5 points per game while Chris Jones averages 11.5 points per game. The Cardinals are solid on the boards, Harrell and Mangok Mathiang lead the team with 7.0 rebounds per game, while Wayne Blackshear and Chinanu Onuaku average 6.5 per game.
