THE GRAY AREA
Coach Bob Gray after Evansville match:
"We really needed this result and the team went out there and got it. We have been working hard and that really showed today. After a poor performance on Friday, I am happy with how the team was able to rally, string together some chances and get the win. We needed this not just for Conference USA play, but also for our own confidence."
Gray on Daniel Jodah:
I had a discussion with Daniel before the match and told him it was time to produce a goal and he went out there and did it. He has been our go-to go offensively and has had plenty of chances like the one he scored on. He was able to go out there and do it today."
Gray on opening Conference USA play next game:
"We will face a tough side in South Carolina. Any team you play in Conference USA is going to be tough, so it helps that we were able to build our confidence with this win today."
