Thundering Herd Madness Set for Oct. 23

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall men's and women's basketball will hold Thundering Herd Madness at the Cam Henderson Center on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m.
An evening full of crowd-pleasing events will include a dunk-off, a three-point contest, an intrasquad scrimmage, player and staff introductions, an autograph session and a car giveaway courtesy of Dutch Miller. With the men's side taking part in a majority of the on-court festivities, the women's team will be on hand to meet and greet with the fans in attendance.
Tickets will be only $1 and can be purchased at the Cam Henderson Center starting today or at the door the day of the event. Students will be admitted free of charge, but must show their Marshall ID at the student gate located on the south end of the concourse, E-level, in the Cam Henderson Center.
Sponsors for the event include First Sentry Bank, Cabell Huntington Orthopedics, Kindred Communications, Fat Patty's, Dutch Miller and Kroger.
