Herd Welcomes #25 Old Dominion Thursday Evening

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- The Thundering Herd (4-10, 0-1 C-USA) hosts 25th-ranked Old Dominion (12-1, 1-0 C-USA) on Thursday for a 7 p.m. ET tip at the Cam Henderson Center.
Marshall is led by Ryan Taylor's 14.1 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. Milan Mijovic (9-17 .529) has the top field goal percentage on the squad. Cheikh Sane leads the team with 13 blocks and Austin Loop has been the team's top long-range shooter with 36 made 3-pointers, boasting a .404 percentage. Tamron Manning leads with 18 steals and Aleksa Nikolic is tops on the team with 48 assists.
The Herd has won just once in its last 11 games and is coming off four-straight losses at Arkansas State (67-58), Nevada (83-55), at Akron (70-63) and at Western Kentucky (81-62).
ODU is led by Trey Freeman's 16.4 points per game to go with his 45 assists and 13 steals. Denzell Taylor is tops on the team with 14 blocks and 6.2 rebounds per game, an average that is matched by Richard Ross, who also leads the team in field goal percentage (54-90, .600). Ambrose Mosley has a team-high 28 3-pointers and makes them at a 35.9 percent clip. Aaron Bacote is the team-leader in free throw percentage at 84.8 percent (39-46).
Marshall will return home to face Charlotte on Saturday in a contest that will also begin at 7 p.m.
