Opening Statement

We're not playing great right now. If you look at the free throw line, if you look at the rebounding, if you look at their assists, not necessarily our assists because of the way that we were defensively. Our shooting percentage, their shooting percentageââ'¬Â¦we just didn't have it. We just didn't have it. The only thing I said after the game was that they're a really good team but there's no magic formula. There is no magic formula. You just have to put your hard hat on and go to work and we've got to do it pretty quick, because probably the hottest team in the conference is coming here on Saturday in UAB.

On Marshall's shooting struggles

I don't know, I really don't know. I'm more concentrated on the shots we're trying to get them in terms of doing everything we're supposed to do. This is not to put it all on them by any means. At some point, and I've said this before, you have to decide enough is enough and you have to knuckle up and go to work whether it's my diet or my weight and I have to change some things. Whether it's your basketball play or your studies or your classes, whatever it may be, you have to decide enough is enough. We have five games left in the season and we've kind of got a little bit of a monkey on our back right now. I don't know necessarily if I would feel that way had we not dropped the game at North Texas because (after that) you're talking about two of the best teams in the league (WKU and MT). Depending on how you want to look at it, our administration is so supportive that they'll look at how we got be beat by 30 something up there last year, and we only got beat by 20 something this year. I can make the argument that they're better this year than they were last year and so are we. I just want to be into it and I don't feel like we're into it right now. I don't know the magic formula for us to be as a staff. We practice tomorrow at 11.

Marshall Guard/Forward Leah Scott

On what Middle Tennessee does to the opposition:

I just think they move the ball really well, they share really well. They took good open shots and they knock down their open shots.
