Marshall Men's Basketball to Host Summer Camps

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -Marshall men's basketball will host three youth camps over the summer months at the Cam Henderson Center, coach Dan D'Antoni announced Monday. Campers will have the opportunity to work alongside current and former Thundering Herd players and coaches.
Herd Camp will run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 18, to Wednesday, June 20, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, June 21. An awards ceremony will conclude camp on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. The camp is open to ages 7-17, and costs $175. Lunch will be served Monday through Wednesday in an all-you-can-eat facility located on the Marshall University campus. Like last year, sibling discounts will be available. The cost of two campers is $330, while the cost for three is $465.
Little Herd Camp is for boys and girls ages 5 years old through 6th grade, and costs $135. The camp will run 9 a.m. to noon from Monday, July 9, to Thursday, July 12. Campers will play games while learning the basic fundamentals of basketball, including ball handling, defense and shooting form. There is also a sibling discount for Little Herd Camp. The cost for two is $250, while the cost for three is $345. An awards ceremony will conclude camp on Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
An early registration period will be held through Monday, April 16 for both camps, where registrants will receive $10 off (doesn't apply for the sibling discount.)
Both camps will once again feature "theme days." Campers with the best outfits each day will win prizes. The schedules are as follows:
