Men’s Basketball’s West Named to Conference USA All-Academic Team

This is West’s first all-academic honor
IRIVNG, Texas – Marshall men's basketball junior guard Jarrod West was named to the Conference USA All-Academic team on Friday, as announced by the conference office.
West, a Business Management major, has a 3.71 GPA and has been named to C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll the last two years. This year the Clarksburg, W.Va., native leads C-USA with 65 steals and he is second on the Thundering Herd in scoring with 14.3 points per game. West is fifth in the conference in assists with 119 helpers this season.
West has two double-doubles this season when he had 15 points and 11 assists at WKU (Jan. 25) and 15 points and 10 rebounds at UTSA (Feb. 13).
Marshall concludes the regular season at UTSA on Saturday with a tip time of 4 p.m. ET/3 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on Stadium.
