Football Season Ticket Renewal Extended

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The 2020 football season ticket renewal deadline has been extended until Friday, May 29, the Marshall Ticket Office announced today. This comes as the second extension of the renewal deadline due to the developments of the coronavirus (COVID-19). "We wanted to give our season ticket holders as much time as possible in order to secure their season tickets for the upcoming season, and because of the environment we're currently in, we hope they'll take advantage of our payment plan options," said Director of Athletics Mike Hamrick. "We have to prepare as if there will be a 2020 football season and our season ticket holders are the most important part to secure." Marshall's home football slate begins Saturday, September 12 versus the ACC's Pittsburgh Panthers.

Renewals Mailed Out
Hard copy renewals will be mailed out on Monday, April 20.
To renew your season tickets, you can:

Renew online by clicking here and save $5 on your order.
Call 800-THE-HERD during normal office hours (M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).
Mail your renewal with payment to:

Payment Plan Options
There are two payment plan options when renewing your season tickets.

Half Now, Half Later
1. Option of paying 50% of season ticket total upon renewing and the remaining 50% will be taken automatically from your card on June 1.
Monthly
1. Option of paying equal installments upon renewing and the remaining installments will be taken automatically from your card on the 1^st of each month through August 1.

Additionally, if you choose the monthly payment plan and you wish to defer a month to the next month, email herdtickets@marshall.edu and changes can be made to the order. Individuals who already renewed their season tickets had the option of deferring their April 1 installment to May 1 to allow them more flexibility.

Away Game Tickets On-Sale
The first two away games of the 2020 season (ECU on August 29 and Ohio on September 19) will go on-sale this Friday on HerdZone.com. ECU tickets will be $52 each while Ohio tickets will be $40 each. Purchasing through the Marshall Ticket Office will ensure that you are seated in the Marshall fan sections. There will be a place on the hard copy season ticket renewal that is mailed out that will allow you to order ECU or Ohio tickets.

Season Ticket Deposits
Herd fans looking to purchase season tickets for the first time for the 2020 football season can place a season ticket deposit now online. This is a $100 non-refundable deposit that will be applied to your football season ticket order. This deposit will allow you to select your football season ticket locations before season tickets go on-sale to the general public. To place a deposit, please click here.

Thursday, June 4 – Season ticket holder parking changes or additions

Thursday, June 11 – Season tickets on-sale to general public
Wednesday, July 1 – Mini plans on-sale to general public
Monday, July 20 - Single game tickets on-sale to Big Green members & season ticket holders
Monday, August 3 - Single game tickets on-sale to the general public
