Garnes Added to Men’s Basketball Staff

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall men's basketball head coach Dan D'Antoni announced the addition of Jacob Garnes as the team's Video Coordinator on Friday.
"Jacob is someone I look forward to working with," D'Antoni said. "He's fun and outgoing, and everyone likes to be around him. He's been with us since day one at Marshall, so it means a lot to hire him in a full-time capacity. He is an integral part of our staff and program, as we rely heavily on specific video needs, and I can't emphasize that enough."
A native of Scott Depot, W.Va., Garnes served as a student manager from 2014-18 and was head student manager from 2018-20 as he earned a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and a Masters in Sport Management. A fun fact about Garnes is that he is the best NBA 2k player within the program.
