Riley, a native of Barboursville, W.Va., came to Marshall via Cabell Midland High School, home of current men's hoops standout Mark "The General" Patton. Riley was a first baseman for the Knights. He graduated from Marshall in May of 2004 with a degree in journalism and mass communications and was active in the school's newspaper, The Parthenon. Following graduation, Riley took his wide array of talents to the MU Sports Information department, where he is currently a graduate assistant. Riley is the direct contact for the MAC tournament runner-up volleyball team and the three-time MAC championship tennis team while also serving as the staff photographer. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree in athletic administration. Riley, an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, hopes to one day be in a head position for media relations in Major League Baseball. Riley, 22, is the son of Bo and Sharon Riley.
