Marshall Athletics to Hold Spring Sale

Event to be held on Saturday, May 19

Rich Worner joined the Marshall athletic staff in March of 2002 as the school's head equipment manager. The 1996 West Virginia State graduate had served as an assistant on the equipment (1988-92) and facilities (1993-95) staffs during his undergraduate years at Marshall.

Worner served as the head equipment manager at West Virginia State College in 1995-96, an assistant equipment manager at Virginia from 1996-99 and the head equipment manager at Tulane from 1999-2002.

He is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association and the American Football Coaches Association. He and his wife Tonya live in Barboursville and welcomed their first child, Kiersten Faith, on Dec. 8, 2002.
