The Stampede

The Stampede, formally the Marshall Maniacs, is now housed under the Big Green Scholarship foundation and is the official student club of Marshall Athletics. Joining The Stampede is the best way as a student to show your support of Marshall University Athletics. The cost to join is $25 and with that you receive:

  • Exclusive T-shirt
  • Free student guest ticket to a home football game of choice ($20 value)
  • Other Marshall giveaways
  • Become an official member of the Big Green Scholarship Foundation
  • Herd Perks discount card (Discounts are numerous local vendors) See list here

Items will be available for pick up starting August 15th from The Big Green main offices located on the left side of City National Bank on 3rd Avenue.

NOTE: You must be a current Marshall University student to be eligible to join The Stampede.

Student Tickets to Marshall Athletic Events- FREE

All full time Marshall University students will now be able to claim and download tickets directly to their phone. All ticketed athletic events will be utilizing this system. For non-ticketed sports, no ticket is required for entry.

Ticketed Events Include:

Football

Volleyball

Men’s Soccer

Women’s Soccer

Men’s Basketball

Women’s Basketball

Baseball

How to claim a ticket:

  1. 1. Go to https://herdtickets.evenue.net/students and click the “Sign In as Student” button.

    2.Sign In with your Marshall credentials via Single Sign-On.

    3. Click on the sport you want to claim a ticket and select the game you want to claim a ticket

    4. Hit the “Buy Now” button and then “Find Best Available”

    5. Click the “Checkout” button and then “Place Order” 

    6. Enter all appropriate contact information to send link to your mobile device. 

How to download a ticket:

  1. 1. You will get a text from Pac Live with a link to download your ticket.

    2. Click the “Sign in as Student” button again.

    3. On the next page, you will be able to add the ticket to your Apple or Android wallet.

Football Student Guest Tickets

Football student guest tickets are available for purchase for $20 per ticket. Students can purchase any amount of student guest tickets they need. Log into your account and purchase for your selected game.

FOOTBALL ENTRY INFORMATION
The student gate for football games is Gate F (southeast corner) of Joan C. Edwards Stadium. This is the gate behind Wendy's on 5th Avenue. Gates will always open 2 hours prior to kick-off . It is recommended to get to the game as early as possible to avoid long lines entering the stadium. 
 
STUDENT SECTIONS
The student section consists of sections 115, 117, 119, and 121. Seating is first-come, first-served in the student section.

Re-entry is not permitted at any of our athletic facilites.
