Jovon Bouknight will be entering his second season as the Pass Game Coordinator/Wide Receivers Coach of the Thundering Herd.
He joined the coaching staff in February 2022 in that role.
In 2022, Bouknight led a receivers room that saw many young players gain experience while veteran Corey Gammage led the way with 774 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
Key returnees for Bouknight in 2023 include Charles Montgomery, Caleb McMillian and Talik Keaton.
Bouknight previously coached at University of Kentucky, University of Oregon, Texas Tech, Utah State University, and University of Wyoming.
Bouknight has a Bachelor’s degree from University of Wyoming.
He is married to wife Jeanine Bouknight and they have two children, Breeze and Brene.
