Ryan Freeman is in his second season as a graduate assistant at Marshall on the offensive side of the ball.
Freeman came to Huntington after one season at Rocky Mountain College's wide receivers coach and two seasons at Kentucky Christian University, where he served as the school's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
In 2014, he coached wide receivers at Oklahoma Baptist University and served as the program's video coordinator a year after also coaching the receivers at Black Hills State University, his alma mater.
He also had student assistant stops at Wyoming and South Dakota State sandwiched around stints at Westmoore and Southmoore High Schools in Oklahoma City.
Freeman received his Bachelor's in General Studies from Black Hills State in December 2013 and his Master's in Sports Administration from East Central University.
Freeman and his wife Julie, an assistant athletic trainer at Marshall, reside in Barboursville. They have one son, Mason.
