2024-25 (Junior): Competed in 10 meets ... Raced at both the SBC Indoor and Outdoor Championships ... Set Mile PR at Liberty Open (5:21.10)
2023-24 (Sophomore): Competed in 10 meets, including appearances in both the Sun Belt Conference Indoor and Outdoor Championships ... Won the UC Golden Eagle Invitational 5K, winning with a time of 18:18.34 ... Additionally scored in the Marshall Invitational indoor 5K and the Charlotte 49er 10K.
2022-23 (Freshman): Competed in 13 meets for Marshall track and field as a freshman ... Opened track career with a 10:20.17, took off nine seconds, setting a personal record two weeks later at the Marshall Invitational, setting a 3K PR of 10:11.68 ... Set a 5K PR the next meet at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships, racing a 17:52.36 ... Raced the 10K at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships, compiling a PR of 37:15.76
Prior to Marshall: Attended and ran at Hurricane High School for coaches Jimmy Cunningham and Dru Bora (2021-22), and Eric Cooper (2021-22)…5k (XC) – 19:04, 3200 – 11:28, 1600 – 5:21, 800 – 2:30…2021 WV AAA XC State Championship All-State….Medaled at Track State Championships in 4x800 in 2019 and 2022, and the 3200 in 2021
Personal: Born Mar. 27, 2004, from Hurricane, West Virginia…daughter of Dru Bora and Kim DeTardo-Bora….plans to major in Biological Sciences….Chose Marshall because, “it was the best fit for me academically and athletically.” Graduated as Yeager Scholar with national research honors
