David O'Leary was hired as Associate Director of Strategic Communications in August 2022. He serves as the primary sports information contact for Marshall's Women's Soccer, Women's Basketball, Softball, and Cross Country/Track & Field programs.
He graduated from Marshall with a BA in Sports Management and a Minor in Marketing in 2019. He has experience working for the Cincinnati Reds in the promotional events department and in the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame membership services. Prior to returning to Huntington in 2022, O'Leary served as the Head Sports Information Director at Alderson Broaddus University.
He is originally from South Charleston, W.Va.
