Dawn Kirtner was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations in July of 2021.

Kirtner started working in the Marshall athletics business office as an undergraduate student in January of 1997 served as an accountant for the athletic department until summer 2019. In the fall of 2019, she was named Marshall's Director of Business Operations.

The Huntington native graduated in May of 2001 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Kirtner earned her Masters Degree in Industrial and Employee Relations in May of 2004. She resides in Culloden.
