Evynn Richard joins Marshall University in June 2026 as the Head STUNT Coach, bringing more than 21 years of specialized experience in competitive cheerleading and STUNT. A seasoned coaching leader and nationally recognized skills-development specialist, Richard has spent the past decade shaping athletes and programs at the collegiate, high-school, and international levels.
Richard comes to Marshall from California Baptist University, where she served as Assistant STUNT Coach for five seasons, contributing to the program’s historic 117–0 winning streak, the longest in the history of women’s athletics. Her role included NCAA Division I compliance, athlete development, recruitment strategy, and major event operations for The Joust STUNT Camp and Tournament.
In addition to her collegiate coaching success, Richard is the Director of Skills Development for New Heights Skills Camps, overseeing clinics for more than 50 high schools across California and Arizona. She also serves as Skills & Coach Development Program Director for Cheersport Netherlands, where she leads national-level coach education, retention initiatives, and technical training.
A former elite athlete herself, Richard earned a Top 10 finish at the Cheerleading Worlds, became an NCA Collegiate All-Girl Group Stunt National Champion, and contributed to four NCA Division I and II All-Girl National Championships.
Richard holds both a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California Baptist University. She remains an active USA Cheer STUNT coach and is committed to building programs rooted in positivity, personal ownership, and championship-level performance.
