Xander Karagosian was named as the Executive Assistant to the Director of Athletics in August 2025 by Vice President/Director of Athletics Gerald J. Harrison.
Karagosian joined Marshall Athletics after graduating from Ohio University in three years with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a minor in Sport Management. As a student athlete he was a member of the Bobcat football program, he served as President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and represented Ohio on the Mid-American Conference Council of Student-Athletes (COSA) as well as the NCAA Division I Football Oversight Committee Student-Athlete Connection Group.
Beyond athletics, Karagosian was a Student Ambassador for Ohio's College of Business and an Athletic Ambassador for the Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre, where he helped promote professional development opportunities for student-athletes. His campus involvement extended into mentoring, business operations, community services, and student success initiatives, experiences that prepared him for a career in athletics administration. He was recognized with the MAC Medal of Excellence and earned multiple academic honors throughout his career.
Originally born in Africa and raised in several states before settling in Ohio, where he graduated from Jackson High School.
