Chris Crocker

Chris Crocker followed a decorated career as a Marshall defensive back with an additional 11 seasons in the National Football League with the Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals. In his time with the Thundering Herd, Crocker helped the team win four bowl games along with Mid-American Conference championships in 1999, 2000 and 2002. The Chesapeake, Va., native and his teammates registered a 43-9 won-loss record during his four seasons, while Crocker received All-MAC honors in 2001 and 2002 and became a third-round pick of the Cleveland Browns in the 2003 NFL Draft. Crocker was inducted into the Marshall Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013.
