Holtzclaw Joins Women's Basketball Staff

Marshall University Women's Basketball Head Coach Royce Chadwick announced today that Kidada Holtzclaw has joined the Thundering Herd staff as an assistant coach.
Holtzclaw, 25, will oversee on-campus recruiting, travel, and summer camps for the program. She spent the last two seasons as a graduate assistant under Chadwick at Stephen F. Austin University.
Prior to her stint at SFA, Holtzclaw played gaurd for the University of Alabama where she helped the Crimson Tide to four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. She holds a B.S. in Human Performances from Alabama and has an M.S. in Kinesiology from SFA.
"I wanted the opportunity to continue to work under coach Chadwick," said Holtzclaw. "I also wanted to help meet the challenge of taking this program to another level."
"I'm very excited to have Kidada on our staff," said Chadwick. Her playing experience in the Southeastern Conference and work with a Top 25 program at Stephen F. Austin will truly be an assett to our staff."
Holtzclaw joins former Stephen F. Austin assistant Roxanne White and former New Mexico State Head Coach John Sutherland as assistants at Marshall.
"This is truly the best staff I have ever been a part of," said Chadwick.
