ESPN The Magazine Ranks Leftwich Top Player of First Half

Who has been the top impact player in the first half of the 2002 college football season?

According to ESPN The Magazine's Bruce Feldman it is Marshall quarterback Byron Leftwich.

Feldman ranks the top 100 players in college football this week and says of the Herd QB, "The franchise QB has been as great as advertised. Good for 400 yards-plus every game."
