?I thought we played great and played hard. Miami is one of the best, if not the best, defensive team in our league and they very well could be back in the championship again this year,? Marshall head coach Greg White said. ?We shot the ball very well from three and Ronald Blackshear will do that. He can shoot and score, period.?
Blackshear?s eight of 12 three point shooting bolstered an impressive three point shooting night for the Thundering Herd. Marshall connected on nine of 11 three?s in the first half (81.8%) to grab a slim 38-36 lead at the half. Marshall went on to shoot 66.7% from three point range (12 of 18) in the ball game.
