Marshall Basketball Hosts Central Michigan on Senior Night

2/26/2002

The Thundering Herd men's basketball team plays host to Central Michigan Wednesday and Marshall will be paying tribute to its four seniors - Tamar Slay, J.R. VanHoose, Latece Williams, and Pete Butler. Tip is set for 7:30 p.m.

Marshall (12-14, 6-10 MAC) is still in the hunt for a MAC Tournament first round home game, but is in need of help. The Herd must win its final two regular season games (Wednesday versus Central Michigan and Saturday at Akron) if it has any hope of hosting.

Central Michigan (8-16, 5-11) led by 2001 MAC Player of the Year David Webber will be looking to spoil Marshall's bid for a first round home game.
