CLEVELAND, Ohio- The Mid-American Conference All-MAC team honors were handed at the league's banquet in Muncie, Ind., Thursday night. The awards were given out in conjunction with the the championship tournament.
The Thundering Herd had two members of the team featured on the first team. Jessica Johnson, sophomore from Swickley, Pa. and Anna Mitina, senior from Sochi, Russia.
Marshall didn't have anyone chosen on the Second Team All-MAC.
The Newcomer of the Year Award, Player of the Year Award, Leann Grimes-Davidge Sportsmanship Award and Coach of the Year will be announced at the conclusion of the championship.
Marshall will play Bowling Green Friday at 2:00 pm.
