Tennis Plays Host to Virginia Tech

4/9/2002

Marshall University?s women?s tennis team will play host Wednesday, April 10, to Virginia Tech. The match is slated to begin at 2:00 pm at the Marshall tennis courts located behind the Cam Henderson Center.

This will be the first home match for the Herd since March 23. Since that time Marshall has defeated Miami, Toledo and Richmond.

In the ITA rankings that were released this week, Jessica Johnson and Ashley Kroh were ranked as the No. 60 doubles team in the country. Johnson and Kroh play at the No. 2 spot for the Herd and have a overall record of 12-1.

Marshall?s is currently 13-7 overall and 4-1 in Mid-American Conference play.
