Kraus Adds To First Signing Class

Huntington, W. Va.--Marshall Head Swimming and Diving Coach Leonard Kraus has announced his sixth scholarship signee in Elyse Beard, a distance and 400 IM swimmer from Conway, Arkansas.

"It is great to sign my first distance swimmer, she will be able to swim six different events depending on where we need her," said Kraus. "Elyse is versatile and that is important on any team, let alone a new one."

The Thundering Herd begin competition in the fall of 2002.
