Four Herd Swimmers Honored with CSC Academic All-District Honor

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Herd Swimming and Diving student-athletes Katie Fisher, Mia McBride, Lauren McNamara and Molly Warner were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday, as announced by CSC.
McNamara, a sophomore from Flat Rock, Michigan, had quite the 2025-26 season. At the American Conference Championship, McNamara reached a pair of A Finals and a B Final. In the 200 Butterfly, she won the event and set the program record for the third time of the season and fifth time in two seasons in 1:58.16. McNamara also finished sixth in the 100 Butterfly with her prelim time of 54.10 ranking fourth-fastest in program history and 16th in the 200 IM with her time of 2:03.79 in prelims ranking eighth in program history.
Warner, a junior from Shelby Township, Michigan, reached the A Final in the 200 IM, 400 IM and 200 Butterfly at the American Championship in Greensboro. Warner captured third in the 200 IM with a time of 1:59.88, the third-fastest time in program history. Warner also finished fourth in the 400 IM (4:16.78) and seventh in the 200 Butterfly, with her 400 IM time ranking fourth in program history. The junior also swam a 200 Backstroke Time Trial finishing in 1:58.60, the third-fastest in program history.
McBride, a senior from Huntsville, Alabama, reached the A Final in the 100 Backstroke and the C Final in the 200 Backstroke in Greensboro. McBride set a season-best time in the 100 finishing prelims in 54.32 before finishing fourth in the final as she won the C Final in the 200 with a time of 2:01.11. McBride also swam a season-best 50 Backstroke (25.71) to start the 200 Medley Relay.
Fisher, a junior from Lebanon, Ohio, reached the B Final in the 100 and 200 Butterfly at the American Championship. Fisher finished 16th in both events with her prelim time of 54.55 in the 100 setting the 10th fastest time in program history.
