Marshall Women Finish Road Swing With Game Against Akron

The Thundering Herd take on the Zips Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at the James A. Rhodes Arena.

Marshall (5-7, 1-1 MAC) will try to rebound from a 65-44 loss to Kent State Monday night. Last season, the Herd swept Akron, but struggled with the Zips at the J.A.R. MU beat Akron 71-68 in overtime on January 30th, 2002.

The Zips enter Wednesday's contest with a 1-13 overall record, 0-3 in the Mid-American Conference. Akron is under new leadership in head coach Kelly Kennedy, who came to Akron after three years as Iowa State's top assistant.

The Herd returns home to take on the Miami RedHawks Monday night at 7 p.m.
