Marshall Hosts Illinois State in ESPN "Bracket Buster Saturday" Action

Marshall University's men's basketball team will host Missouri Valley Conference member Illinois State Saturday at 2:00 p.m. The game is part of the first ever ESPN "Bracket Buster Saturday" and will be televised by ESPN Regional/Full Court (WSAZ-TV in Huntington/Charleston).
Illinois State has won four of its last seven contests and is led by sophomore guard Vince Greene's 12.1 points per game.
The game will mark the fifth all-time meeting between Illinois State and Marshall. The two teams played a four-game series in the late 1970's with the Redbirds winning all four of those meetings, including two at Veteran's Memorial Field House.
