HUNTINGTON, W.VA.--The Marshall University women?s basketball team placed two players on All-MAC Teams, announced Monday by the conference office in Cleveland. Catie Knable (Floyd Knobs, Ind.) was named to the All-MAC Honorable Mention Team, while Sikeetha Shepard-Hall (Houston, Tex.) was named to the All-Freshman team.
Knable leads the Mid-American Conference in rebounding at 9.0 rebounds per game, and paces the Herd to the 18th-best rebounding margin in Division I. She also averages 7.1 points per game.
Shepard-Hall leads all freshman in scoring in the conference, averaging 14.7 points per game. The Houston, Texas, freshman also leads Marshall in scoring. In her last 13 games, Shepard-Hall is averaging 18 points per game, and in the Herd?s three games in March, she is pouring in 21 points per contest.
