Juliet Donahue Named Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

HUNTINGTON, W. Va.--Marshall head coach Royce Chadwick has announced that Juliet Donahue has been named as an assistant coach for the Thundering Herd women's basketball team. Donahue, the Herd's graduate assistant for the past two years, takes over for Kidada Holtzclaw, who left Marshall this summer for a position with Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee.
"We are very excited to have Juliet on board," Chadwick said. "She has been with us for two seasons and has done a great job for us. She's a Marshall girl who loves the school and the area. She also knows our girls and the level our program aspires to."
Donahue, a Point Pleasant, W.Va., native, received a B.A. in Education from Marshall in December of 1999, and in May of 2003, she graduated with an M.S. in Athletics Administration, also from Marshall.
Her duties with the Herd will include recruiting, game planning, practices, on-the-floor coaching, and serving as the travel coordinator.
"I'm truly honored to stay a part of this program," Donahue said. "I'm also excited about coaching at the Division I level with Coach Chadwick and his great staff, and about the exciting season ahead."
