HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Big Green Scholarship Foundation will be holding its first town meeting on Thursday (Nov. 10), beginning at 5 p.m. in the Big Green Room at Joan C. Edwards Football Stadium. The meeting will be open to all current Big Green donors. Anyone who is not currently a donor may join at the door with a minimum donation of $25.
The evening will begin with Marshall University head football coach Mark Snyder discussing the football program followed by a question and answer session with the audience. Coach Snyder will be followed by Athletic Director Bob Marcum who will discuss the Marshall athletic program and also entertain questions from the audience. Big Green Board of Trustees President Tom Miller and Big Green Executive Director David Cantor will also be on hand to discuss the Big Green Scholarship Foundation.
"Our donors are a very important part of Marshall Athletics and we would like to give our loyal supporters this unique opportunity to not only learn about the current status of Marshall's athletic program but also a forum to have their questions addressed," Cantor said.
Light refreshments will be served during the meeting.
