Women's Basketball to Aid in Ritter Park Cleanup

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. ? In conjunction with Earth Day, members of the Marshall women?s basketball program will participate in the Ritter Park Cleanup on Saturday.
The event, sponsored by the DAWG 93.7-FM, begins at 11 a.m. in Huntington?s pristine recreation and leisure setting, Ritter Park. All Thundering Herd fans are encouraged to join MU women?s basketball players and coaches as they aid in keeping the community clean.
?This is an opportunity for Marshall women?s basketball and the community that supports us to lend a hand to keep the great town of Huntington in good shape,? Marshall assistant coach John Sutherland said, ?and we urge our fans to help us out with this cause.?
