HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall University will host the inaugural Conference USA Compliance Coordinator's On-Campus Meeting on Monday, October 30th.

Representatives from all 12 Conference USA institutions and a representative from the NCAA Membership Services staff will be on campus to discuss legislative proposals, C-USA Compliance protocol, and NCAA Compliance matters that will affect C-USA member institutions.

Rob Phillippi, C-USA Associate Commissioner for Compliance & Academics said the one day event will be beneficial to the entire conference.

"We are very excited about the opportunity to come to Huntington for C-USA's Compliance Coordinators meeting and appreciate Marshall University for hosting the event. The one day in-person meeting provides a great opportunity for member institutions to discuss relevant NCAA compliance topics," Phillippi said. "I trust we will depart, not only better informed, but incredibly impressed with the university community and the community of Huntington."

Marshall University Associate Athletic Director for Compliance David Reed echoed those sentiments.

"When it was decided that the conference membership wanted to start having yearly on-campus meetings it was an easy decision for me to volunteer to host the event and invite other schools to visit our great university," Reed said. "With in-person meetings you have a forum that conference calls and teleconferences cannot equal. I look forward to discussing the pending legislation and other topics that affect our conference."
