PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) - Kyle Koncz scored 20 points to lead Princeton in its 61-45 win over Marshall on Saturday.
Koncz, a junior forward, shot 5-for-10 from the field, including 4-for-8 from three-point range.
Princeton (7-3) held the Thundering Herd to 39 percent shooting from the field, resulting in the lowest score of the season so far for Marshall (3-7).
The Tigers were ahead seven at halftime. They then scored the first eight points of the second half to lead 35-20.
Marshall cut Princeton's lead down to 10. But then Koncz hit a pair of foul shots after a technical foul was called against the Marshall bench.
The Herd would get within 10 points of Princeton one more time after that. But they were never able to make it a single-digit margin.
Senior guard Chris Ross led Marshall with 17 points, with 7-of-12 shooting from the field.
Luke Owings hit nine points for Princeton, and Mark Dorris scored nine points for Marshall.
