DALLAS - Marshall guard Sikeetha Shepard-Hall (Houston, Texas) was named to the All-Conference USA Second Team, the league office announced today, in advance of the 2006 C-USA Women's Basketball Championships that begin on Thursday at SMU's Moody Coliseum.

Shepard-Hall led the Thundering Herd in scoring for the fourth straight season with 15.1 points per game, sixth best in C-USA. She also posted 3.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game for fifth-seeded Marshall, which will face No. 12 Memphis in Thursday's first round.

The senior's 16.2 points per contest in league play ties for the fifth most in the conference.

The second team nod is the second straight for Shepard-Hall, who was named to last season's Mid-American Conference Second Team. In fact, Shepard-Hall was selected to an all-conference team in all four of her years at MU. She was previously named to the MAC All-Freshman Team in 2003 and the honorable mention team in 2004.

Shepard-Hall will end her career as the No. 3 all-time scorer in Marshall history with over 1,560 points.

Tulsa's Jillian Robbins was named C-USA Player of the Year, along with Defensive Player of the Year. Robbins' head coach, Charlene Thomas-Swinson, was named the league's Coach of the Year.

Joining Robbins on the first team are SMU's Janielle Dodds, UAB's Carmen Guzman, Houston's Tye Jackson and Lauren Neaves of Rice.
